When you are looking for help, you most likely want a trusting relationship in which to explore and work through areas of concern. My goal is to help you be better prepared to navigate life’s journeys and rough patches. It is never too late to start healing and moving forward. My specialty is in helping clients recognize how their past and present affect their behavior and coping skills. Using this new information and perspective, clients are able to make more informed, healthier choices.
The therapeutic process can seem daunting. My hope is to provide a non-judgmental ear so that clients can make the necessary progress in their personal and professional lives.
I received my Bachelor’s degree from Marygrove College. My Master’s degree in Social Work is from Wayne State University with a concentration in Interpersonal Practice. In addition to helping with psychotherapy, my clinical experiences include working with the homeless population, the juvenile justice system, and providing crisis intervention with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and secondary victims of homicide.
A little but more about me:
Traveling is a hobby that I have recently taken up. I have been to several states within the U.S. however, now I think it may be time to venture abroad. On my list of travel destinations are France and Spain.
A little bit more about me
In college, I was on a ski team where I traveled all over Michigan to compete. I enjoy eating vegetarian. I started a vegetarian/vegan club to support others on their journey. I enjoy spending my time exploring Detroit and all it has to offer!
